| Into The DarknessIn your shack by the river, you lit a small firefixing tea for company, we sat and passed the time
the embers glowed like stardust, reflected in your eyes
you told your stories, I was mesmerized
you’re got to look into the darknessif you want to see the light
through an alley down some stairs, curtain for a doorsmell of curry fills the air, you hear laughter and a song
I admit I was afraid to walk down that stair
now I’ve got new friends if I ever come back here
you’re got to look into the darknessif you want to see the light
standing on top of a mountainlooking down on the city below
 there is no moon tonight
the only light that city’s glow
twinkling jewels reflected off the lake
 some shimmering nebula in space
you’re got to look into the darknessif you want to see the light
you’re got to go into the darkness
if you want to reach the light
