You’ve heard the analogy about the glass being half empty or half full? Well I am a person of extremes and it is my nature for the glass to either be overflowing or turned over, empty, or even broken. I have worked hard at keeping the darn thing only at half and seeing that half as half full, but really I don’t want to live at only half. I feel I have too much to give. So I got there, half full and thought “what if I offer this whole half to the world, holding nothing back?” Logic says the cup would then be empty. Fortunately there are forces in the world stronger then logic can define. When I am able to really let go of that half the world gives back just enough so that my cup is always full! All I have to then do is work at having peace and serenity in my life so my hand will be steady and not spill the full cup. When I do what I need to have peace in my life (including trying to bring others peace) and let go of my half to the world I get to live in the privelage of a constantly full glass and I am happy, joyous, and free.
